My 2002 ls with 3.9 backfired. It broke the latches on the air box where the filter goes. It starts easy and run well at high rpms, but bogs down and kills at low rpms. The evenning before the check engine light came on, but I havent investigated what the code is. Any thoughts?

Use seafoam on my 06 silverado to clean out top end of engine. Use vaccum line to suck in to engine. Can this be done with the ls? It turned off the engine lite on my truck that was giving code saying the o2 sensor needed changing or was dirty. The same is going on with the ls. I have a 3.9...
