Here is the problem I'm having on my 98 lsc. If I unlock the car with my factory remote all interior lighting works as it should. If I use keyless entry pad on drivers door, or the thumb switch on dash,again,all lights work as they should. Problem is, if I open either drivers or passenger door...

Your right,It's called the TR range sensor I believe. I guess it kind of serves the same purpose.I'm geting the "gear data error" on my message center,and I had an issue with it not wanting to crank over this afternoon,until I moved the shifter a few times,so I guess I'll be changing it out this...

Can anybody give me a ballpark idea on ho long it would take to change out a nuetral switch on a gen 2? Been a while and cant remember how much room is under there.

Problem found!! Cracked terminal end on ground cable where it bolts to driver side of block,PITA to get to,but a simple fix none the less.Thanks for the sugestions.

I agree with ya on the alternator thing Chris.Went out to the shop this A.M.,turned the key and it fired right up,so I checked alternator output and it was right where it's suppose to be.Bad news is when I shut it off and tried to restart it,it was dead as a doornail again,starter just clicks.I...

I suppose its possible but it seems to be working like it should,I've done a few searches and alternator issues seem to come up quite a bit,maybe I'll look into that when I cool off a little.Thanks though.

Ive got a 98 lsc which I swapped another motor into about a year ago,at which time I replaced just about everything in the car,including a new starter. I have only put about a thousand miles on it and up till now 0 problems.Today drove it 20 miles or so,got to where I was going,still running...
