Overhead Console Questions

So I'm replacing mine because the broken sunglasses holder keeps flopping down and blocks the rear view mirror. Looking at the well know auction sites I see 2 flavors of the overhead console (One that appears to have "map reading" lights and the other just has a switch that operates the moon roof. I would like to upgrade to the console that has the map lights, but I'm thinking that won't work because my car came through with a moon roof?

Do you use the overhead storage deal? My sub system broke mine but I never used it so I super glued it shut.
