I figured I would just try to make a thread for all the questions i come across when swapping interior and other parts from a v6 to my 2001 v8 base model. The v6 I am using for parts has many upgrades that I will need info on while doing the switch because my v8 didnt come equipped with many of the features I want to add. Heated seats and alpine head unit with amplifier are the two things I've come across so far that I'd like input on. If anybody has swapped seats from no heat to heat, all advise and tips on the process are welcome. And my v8 has a base model stereo and the v6 has tweeters and I found an amp under the dash to go along with the alpine stereo system. But when I looked on my v8 i expected to find either an amp if nothing else a blank spot with an unused plug. I only found an empty spot. Lol. So any guidance on how to add this amp would be appreciated. I'm sure I'll have many other questions to bug you guys with as my progress continues. Thanks in advance
