02, after replacing all parts it runs 207 to 209. If I'm running it hard it'll hit 211. This is summer or winter. I monitor it since the rebuild with a ScanGauge II.

I've got Stoptech drilled and slotted rotors with their ceramic pads and they they are a little noises. But they seem to fade less and stop a little better.

I know you may not like it but all will say replace every plastic cooling part. This is true. All will have cracks , they may be micro but they are there letting air in. And it will have to be bleed maybe many times to get air out. If not you will blow other parts down the road if you replace...
My 02 runs 206 to 209 in traffic with the ac running in 90 degree weather. It drops to about 204 on the freeway. I monitor mine with a ScanGauge all the time since I rebuilt my cooling system.

Where was you able to find the operating temperature. I've dug online and read through the ford service manuals and can't find anything. I monitor mine daily and it runs 207 to 211 all the time. In traffic Ive seen it go to 218. Do you happen to know at what temp the "idiot hand" actually moves...
In the least you would probably need to replace the dryer and take it to some one who can vacuum down the system and refill with freon. Just connecting the hose will do nothing.

Guys I didn't intend to cause a big stir on this topic. I was unaware it had been discussed so many times. I have ordered a vent kit for it so if it does bust the safety seals it will have a place to go out of the car.
Try a reverse drill bit. It may bite into it enough to turn itself out.
Added a ScanGauge II to keep a eye on the temp and voltage. Granted this temp was only after running maybe 15 minutes and 45 degrees out side, I have seen 210 and it below freezing outside down the freeway. Still can't get...
Even plastic expands that's why I wonder why they use plastic so much. I know the plastic on the upper and lower radiator hoses is a different type as it's thermally fused. So it may hold up longer but still. Why do companies want to save penny's thinking they will make more on repairs?
150,000. Funny thing is as bad as all the plastic was Ford replaced the thermostat about 30,000 miles ago according to the paperwork. Looks like they would have replaced all the other parts too.
