+1 same year, same mileage, same issue, was low fluid b/c lincoln did not put a dipstick on the tranny for the dealer to check.

As opposed to the mechanic who justifies his job because of the shade-tree mechanic decides he's too "smart" to pay attention to torque specs... :rolleyes: If they put the rest of the information such as part numbers, fluid capacities, etc in the service manual why are those numbers legit but...

How does one "interview" a detailer to find out if their work is as good quality as yours? I find that many places are "detailers" because they use a clay bar or something but for the $ they really only do a fancy car wash. Even if you tell them you are willing to spend big $ to get big...

Ken - the shims don't come with the Red pads automatically? When you buy them from your site they don't come with the shims? Why the devil not? :confused:

I have a set of LM-22s on all four corners. Work quite well, though this winter was much warmer than most. I have about 10k miles on them and they still look perfect. I change them out in November and replace them with the summer ones in March/April.
