Is your windshield cracked or broken? Most insurance companies will repair the crack or chip for free. However, windshield replacement is dependent on the insurance policy. My insurance company, Allstate, will replace it minus the deductible.

I paid 225 but they didnt have to replace the seals.. and that included a new mirror..

Just got a quote for $359 for an OEM one with rain sensor mask, and heated wiper parking area, will have it done in the next couple of weeks.

In MA, its free. If you have comprhensive coverage.

If the crack is less than the length of a dollar bill, they will repair it. If it is longer than a dollar bill, itll be replaced.

when my was replaced it was around $750 installed, and there is like 7 different windshields for LS

If you have insurance for the windshield have it replaced by a mobile service. They come & do the job & if you have to pay some kind of deductable, well, it is what it is. Check your policy or call your agent if there is a question. Repost if you get an unfavorable answer. Good luck, Ed :cool:

a lot of times at least in MIchigan the windshield or glass repair company may possibly pay the deductible..

Nothing is free, your insurance may cover it but its not free.
