Hi all,
I have a 2004 aviator with about 19,000km. I am currently experiencing a slight rattling noise which seems to be coming from the driver side near the adjustable seatbelt. It sounds like something is loose. Any idea what it is?

I orginally had a '03 Navi that had some noise about the sam location you have. I kept complaining to my dealer and eventually Ford exchanged it under the lemon law. The dealer tried everything even swapping out the door and that didn't fix it. The sound was like something was flapping inside the door much like a piece of plastic.
If you were to take the panel off the door you will see a liner and I'll bet that it was that one flapping. However, that is all taken care off now.
My advise to you is to keep complaining over and over and over and....
