Are there bolts that connect to the throttle bodies? How do you get the intake off the gen 1? Thanks...

In the process of putting in some Autolite 103's... my old 764's were gapped wrong! I ran some Seafoam through the car earlier this morning as well... meangy9 June 8th, 2005, 04:18 PM hey I broke that bolt just last week and now my intake tube doesn't connect tightly to my throttle body. It sucks because the other half of the bolt is to deep inside the throttle body to even get to!!!!!!!!! Was yours like that? K*A*B June 9th, 2005, 09:42 AM yup , i just used a big hose clamp and snugged it up around the base of the air intake and gasket and pushed it back on the tb , i had to do it a couple times to get it tight enough to not fall off , than i just put a short bolt in the top of the air intake to seal the bolt hole everytime i'm under the hood i check to make sure it hasn't popped off the tb , so far so good , its been like that for a few months , and even spraying nitrous through it hasn't popped it off | |||||
