Ok, heres the situation..
can you swap out any 97 ECU for another 97 ECU? my old one was a BLX3, do i have to use another BLX3 or can i use a different code?
my computer is currently dead at SCT, and if i need to send them another computer, i just need to know if i have to have the same code..

How is it dead? Was it running when you sent iy? If so its on them, but yes you can use any 97/98 ecu.

I couldnt get my car to the tune, so i brought my ECU for them to flash, they hooked it up to a 98 car (little did we know that my ecu and that 98 car didnt like eachother.) they started to flash it, and the cars voltage took a crap, dropped to about 9v, and the flash quit, and they havent been able to get it to fire up since..

Then thats on them.
