Tranny Help.

So when my car is cold it shifts real hard. It slams into the next gear. I've been trying to feather the gas so it wont be to hard on the motor mounts. When my car warms up it slips into second. It takes a second then slides in. So I think my tranny is fried. I found a couple of used units and was wondering what I should expect to pay to have the trannies swapped out. Or if someone knows a fix to mine let me know. Thanks.

Did you swap the 1-2 accumulator piston and use Mercon V fluid?

Your 1-2 shift accumulator could be broken, causing your tranny problems. It's an easy fix, if you're mechanically inclined...
