I have a 88 MK VII Bill Blass series. I am replacing the radio. I have been able to power up the new unit. My ? is, there's a multi cable, is this speaker wires or input to a power amp???? Does any one know? Or where might i find a wire diagram for the radio harness. Thanks all

Did you cut any wires?

I replaced my original lincoln radio with a standard jvc stereo .....non lincoln ..... bestbuy had an adapter two ended plug

on end plugged to the head unit plug and one end plugged directly into the wiring harness plug..... no wires to cut .....turned it on and all spkrs came on

went to the back to the installation shop of bestbuy and they had the adapter

:) was glad not to have to do the old splice all the wires bit for sure
