By far, the best sounding muffler I have heard to date. Slightly louder than my magnaflows, beefier than the ultraflows, not obnoxious like a flowmaster...no baffles to rust, and $60 for a pair of 2.5 inch in/out. I bought mine locally, but they are $33.95 each from Summit.

Quiet around town, rich at WOT, and no drone/resonance at any cruising rpm. Not in the car at least...need to film a drive-by, and another in-car vid for you guys.

Might be the sound you are looking for. Oh, and for those who are weight conscious...about 1/2 the weight of a magnaflow, and lighter by far than the stock boat anchors.

I was considering Flomasters until I heard them. Pass. But after hearing some Dynomax's on a Mark VIII, I was sold. I saw those bullet-shaped ones likem those above, but I figured they were "race-only" loud mufflers. I may consider those!

I started with the stock pipes which was a mistake. We need the big pipes fo the big beefy sound. I have too much drone. They start out great but as soon as they break in, they get alot louder. But they do tuck in beautifully.

I used the stock-appearing turn-downs off my magnaflows, so from behind, it still looks like a 94. Just sounds better, that's all.

yea, I'm going to have to clean those welds up myself, and seal them with some inhibitor...I was a bit surprised he bubble-gummed them on. No leaks, but still...

wire wheel, and some inhibitor, followed by BBQ black, and they'll stay good. Good eye!

Just curious here, in the pic I attached why are there welds on the part I circled? It sounds pretty good, this is my take on it from listening to your clip a couple weeks ago in the car with the Magnaflows now these... The mags seemed to be "richer" to me with more of a deep, subtle sound... And these sound a little louder and "hollower", of course this may just have to do with the magnaflow clip in the car, and these new clips from the outside... Either way for 60 bucks, you can't really go wrong...

Edit: About the welds question, I'm just wondering why it was welded there if they come from summit already welded at that point? :Bang <---Confusing enough?

The reason we welded there was because I was going to install them farther back, but didnt have enough room with the turndowns. So, since I had cut off the 2.5" extension, I had to weld it back on...ugly welds, but like I said before, no one will see them(except in these pics).

I'll clean them up well, and paint them flat black with BBQ paint(killer stuff). When I'l done, they'll be almost invisible, and sealed for life.

as far as your take on the sound, it is very similar to the magnaflow, only a bit louder. Not too loud in the car, but louder outside the car. Still has the deep rich "burble" sound, but at steady throttle, it's just a light "hummmm". Floor it, and they cars nearby know you've got *something* done.

I'm definately not saying these are better than any product on the market, but they are cheap enough to experiment with your possible needs/desires as far as sound goes. Just an inexpensive option for those who are on the fence between quiet, and beefy. You can also use them as a resonator if your current mufflers are too loud. The straight-through design offers minimal back-pressure.

Lets say you have a base model, single exhaust, and you tossed your third Cat and resonator, and went with a loud muffler, and think its too loud. You can zap one of these on where the third cat/resonator used to be to aid the loud mufflers.(food for thought)

No noticeable power gains... but it does sound faster! Makes those old modded-Fox Mustang 5.0's think twice when lined up next to you.

I had these on my car with my 2 1/2" exhaust years ago. They were LOUD going down the road. My wife would not ride with me because she got sick from the constant drone at highway speed. I changed them out for the dynomax ultraflos I think... That helped alot and I found no change in power or performance at the track... If they sound good on your exhaust system, I'm glad to hear it.
