Well yesterday night i was on my way home from school (first bad thing) and i was on a toll road (417) in florida and i was doing about 70 when i blew a pass. side rear tire(tread come off the middle of the tire) the car didnt loose control just side the ass end sides ways back and forth as i pulled over when i stopped i hear a loud rumbling (exhaust torn open the length of the muffler because of the innner fender well tearing up due to the tire ) well also i tore the rear lower trim and scratched the bumper and needless to say thank god im still alive could have been worse.

Havent called the dealer yet to find out but does anyone know what a the factory muffler cost and do they make a back for a v6 (2002)(looking for borla cant get straight answer from any sites??) just wondering if its gonna cost and arm and a leg (anyone want to buy a kidney??)(j/k) need to get two new tires in rear and fix the bumper anyone offer help?? (info)

Hated. I had a similar incident happen back in Feb on 75 south between tampa and sarasota. Car responded in a similar fashion luckily nothing got busted up excpet my knuckles.

You might want to consider shopping some salvage yards. I haven't been very pleased with my magnaflow exhaust. the sound bugs the :q out of me. The price posted above sounds very reasonable though.

I'll be happy to come over to help out if you are thinking of doing the install your self.

is it loud? i kinda like the sound of it right now but its too loud at idle but once i get going it sounds sweet (just a whole in the pass muffler about 2inches wide and the lenght of the can ) but i dont know how the magnaflow will sound(mine kinda sounds like a louder 350z or g35)

Out side the car I think it sounds great. I just cant stand the sound inside the cabin.
