I think the lights under the door mirrors were pretty cool and functional but I just discovered how nice manual shifting is! SST is darn nice!

Mine is the auto dimming mirror! It's nice not having to fool with lever on the mirror.

I agree though....the SST is very nice! I like how I can control the shift points. It makes driving the LS much more fun!

I forgot all about the auto dimming mirror. Works so well I dont even notice anymore.

After playing a round at the Links, nothing better than sitting outside on a hot day and holding down Unlock key on the remote pad to roll all windows down and open the moon roof.

I only got to use mine for a week...still learning its features. But i like the memory seats so far.

I Love everything about the LS features, the memory set seats, the heated seats, the auto a/c unit, the alpine stereo 5 cd indash cd, the key feature that rolls all the windows down, the V8 GOTTA LOVE THE V8!! Let me just wrap this up I LOVE EVERY FEATURE THIS CAR HAS!! Sorry for the caps I got a lil excited there!! lol!! :L :L

Now is the handling just a given or is it just not peoples favorite. I think that is what I would have to say. Lots of cars have some of those other things but not many Four doors handle as well as this. Gotta vote for the handling

Yeah the heated and cooled seats are very nice. WIsh they had that feature for the steering wheel! The wood portion get damn hot in the sun.

I couldn't narrow it down to one, so I'll say AC seats and pedal/mirror/seat memory. I hate it when anybody messes with my settings.

You use them the same way you use the heated seats, only you hit the blue button, not the red. The air comes through the seat, not near or around. This pic shows the button.

My favorite feature... Rear wheel drive. Thank Jesus! I don't have to drive FWD anymore!!!! Talk about boring. So... If I want to play it safe I put on the traction control, and the car sticks to the road like paint on a new silk suit; turn off the tcc and you're floating down the road in what some would say is more of a sportscar than half of the so-called "sports cars" now... I'm talking to you Mitsubishi Eclipse *tsk tsk*

Seriously though... other than overall reliability issues, and the fuel costs *grumble grumble* ... I love this car. Comfy, powerful, and all the toys anyone could ask for... Now if only I could get a DVD player in my 00 LS...

I like the how the car is faster than most people think, and handles better than they can imagine. This isn't a feature, just what I love most about the car.

As far as an electronic feature, it would have to be the steering wheel controls for the radio. When I put in my aftermarket radio, I realized how much I enjoyed having them, only to realize they were gone.

I can't say just one. The heated seats. People always are in awe when they look at my message center and see 234 miles to empty, and they go wow, this is like a 007 whip. Then I say wait till you see it underwater. lol. I also love the small things like the way the cup holder flips up on my '00 sport pkg. and of course I love the remote windows. :L With all of that said its time for a drive...

ill be 100% honest the one feature that i love about this car is this forum. not to sound gay or corny, i personally would have given up a month after i got it. i would also probably have a third of the money and a tenth of the accessories. my previous cars had nothing like this and its great to have information right at you fingers. THANKS, again im not gay or anything

LOL!!! Im an ex forum monster!! Have over 12,000 posts on one forum! Still a member of it but just dont play the game much anymore so dont post much there. This is one of the better ones Ive been on.

I agree, the way this car handles is still the best feature for me. I have been driving a modified BMW for more than 25 years and this is the first car that has made me feel as confident in the car's ability to handle the road as my trusty 635 Csi.

HELLO??? no one mentioned the rain sensor wipers!!??? I LOVE that feature. i keep it on all the time. sometimes i forget & get to the carwash & have to turn it off, but so far no broken blades!! :)

that & the built in garage door opener on the visor, small, compact, and works easy. our garage door opener is huge & bulky.. it would have been pretty ugly to clip that to the visor in this pretty car!

i love the radio controls on the steering wheel! (since i switched to aftermarket, i gotta buy the adapter so i can have that feature again.. probably in a couple weeks)

the memory seats are cool, sometimes they get annoying when your messing around with something & you just turn the car on for something real quick & its gotta adjust.

i love the button that rolls the windows down. (comes in handy with this hot weather coming up)

LOVE the fact that the sunroof closes automatically 10 seconds after the car turns off (cant even tell you how many times i would have had wet seats if it werent for that!)

heated seats, need i say more... cept mine broke for this winter & im not in a huge rush to pay a fortune to fix it. wish i had the 03+ with A/C seats!!!! :(

love the exterior more than anything. my car is just beautiful. a bright white LS, just washed and waxed... cant beat it. :L

*oops, i forgot... the big view!!! the windshield is huge!!! the back window too... when my car is not-working, i drive my dad's grand cherokee, and its okay, even though the whole time im driving it, i sit there cursing & missing my car, but the windshield seems too small. i love getting back into my car, and being able to see the world... aaaaahhhhh... :) the little things we take for granted till you get into another car...

I liked the autodimming mirror. When it worked. Now I have an old-fashioned one.

My favorite features are the quiet, the comfy chair, the steering light enough I can palm the wheel, the very good sound quality out of even the cheapo stereo, and the big trunk with the big opening and folding seats (my previous car was a Mustang convertible, and had none of these features).

Of course, the performance goes without saying.

I look forward to seeing what everyone else is saying about their LS and their plans, etc. It gives me ideas of what I can do

My favorite feature above all is the interior. Hands down the best I've ever experienced. I still haven't found one that I feels compares.

Other than that, I love the handling and the comfort maintained in such a sporty sedan.

Dang luckie beat me to it.. i was going to say automatice windshield wipers.. Dang some of the stuff i've haven't seen before until i got this car, i tell everyone it has automatic windshield wipers and like no one believes they exists or something but they think its cool when i get the opportunity to show when its raining, i think they work awesome, oh AND HEATED windshield wiper thaw'er thing.. who'duh thunk it ... they do exist.. lol

Its really roomy once you move the front seats forward, then you can really get things done! They are really nice to sit in.

No one has mentioned the looks you get after a fresh wash and detail. Would love to think they are looking at me (highly unlikely :mad: )...it's a head turner every where I go. Gotta love it.

As for feature favorites, I like the HID headlights, backup radar system, AC seats, and the THX sound system. I also like the coin holder, sliding arm rest, and electric parking brake. I feel sorry for you slobs with 00-02 models that don't have these features.

We have a coin holder.. the ashtray, I am a bit old fasion and I like my parking brake, I partial to the none moving arm rest... My alpine sounds nice.....and I dont need radar to tell me if I gong to hit something... got me on the HIDS though, and I AM BY NO MEANS A SLOB (poor choice of words here)..... just wish I had the A/C seats... for my black interior :D

And I noticed a lot of people are listing features that are common on pretty much any car these days, such as HID's, steering wheel controls, park assist, etc. But I suppose that's because either you're old, or it's your first car. The only feature I hadn't seen before was the one that opens the sunroof and each of the windows, although I never use it. :\ You're right about nobody knowing what the it is, though. I also like how it handles, but all I've driven are SUV's & coupes, so I can't compare it to other sedans.

Alot of those are common features. I had a rental Kia Amanti that had features that the LS doesnt. There are alot of other cars that are better than the LS in each aspect but the LS is a great total package of most everything.

Exclusive in the sense that is is relaively rare and unknown versus a BMW, etc...

the handling is gots to be my fav part of this car -- and yea most cars now have these features but remember the LS is at the end of his life when it comes to production and at the time the LS came out only the luxury cars had these features - for example now honda and regular toyota's now have navigation and HID lights on most of their production cars and that was a feature that was only a luxury option -- now lets see what features the NEW LS will have or as some peaple think the MKS.

My favorite "feature" has to be the global window down. My favorite "thing" about the LS is the wonderful balance of power and superb handling. My least favorite thing...that damn creaking in the center console...

My Wife's 92 Maxima would open windows and sunroof with keypad. It is still one of my favorite feaures.

I like how it tells you if if your low on fuel...

In that case, I like how it has brakes... those come in handy whenever you need to stop. :!
