I am using the parts interchange list found here: http://www.lincolnsonline.com/article107.html I'm really looking for one of the ones with a 1 5/8" (1.31") diameter. If someone knows that would be great. I'm in the NJ area. scott9050 May 10th, 2005, 10:20 AM From what I got at the Corral the Mustang sway bar is that size. Whether it will fit or not is another story, I'll have to investigate. bob5326 May 10th, 2005, 08:48 PM I am looking for a 1987-88 Thunderbird TurboCoupe or Cougar XR-7 front sway bar. This is my first posting and I'm messing it up badly..... skymasteres May 10th, 2005, 09:01 PM Where are you located and what year is it off of? email me at skymasteres@gmail.com scott9050 May 11th, 2005, 12:32 AM If the Mustang one will fit your application I will give it to you for free, you pay shipping. I need the space. skymasteres May 11th, 2005, 07:01 AM If the Mustang one will fit your application I will give it to you for free, you pay shipping. I need the space. I know this is a great offer, but I don't think that bar will fit. I looked up the accdo info in the differences between the two and they are two different part numbers. Sifrino3 May 11th, 2005, 07:16 PM Make sure you do the back sway bar. Or you will be in a mess. . . skymasteres May 11th, 2005, 08:59 PM Make sure you do the back sway bar. Or you will be in a mess. . . Yeah, I was planning on getting an addco for the rear. re-Markable LSC May 14th, 2005, 03:50 PM Make sure you do the back sway bar. Or you will be in a mess. . . No you won't. Minor bumpsteer issues that are really negligible. re-Markable LSC May 14th, 2005, 07:20 PM Make that oversteer. skymasteres May 16th, 2005, 11:11 AM I tried private messaging bob5326, but still havn't heard back from him. I think he might have lost the link for this forum ;) bob5326 May 17th, 2005, 07:43 AM I not only lost the link, but I lost my mind as well. But the good news is that I found them both. I drive an 87 turbo coupe w/auto and an 88 turbo coupe with a 5 speed, and have 3 others for parts. From what I know, the sway bars are the same. Some 5.0 mustangs also have the same size sway bar, but I'm not sure of the years or models. skymasteres May 20th, 2005, 08:37 AM I not only lost the link, but I lost my mind as well.
