When I rev my engine in park or neutral it goes up to 3000rpm then the car starts to like shake and it wont go any higher. Is there anyway to stop these restrictions.. what exactly will an intake do to my car?faster?

this is a electronic restriction added to the PCM - 3000rpm in N or P - thought to protect the engine.

the only wat to remove it is to re-flash you PCM using the SCT XCalibrator - and specifically ask the tuner to add the feature to remove the rev limiter - mine is like this now.

do a search on the SCT flasher - many threads -> http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showpost.php?p=27874&postcount=8

an improved intake can give you up to 13 more rwhp - again search many many threads on this.
