My rear caliper on the drivers side of my 87 mark is leaking. It seems to be leaking from where the bolt that holds on the e-brake cable goes in to the caliper. Can I replace the O rings or do I have to replace the cliper. If the O rings can be replaced where can I get them at. Thanks for any help.

not worked the rear calipers in a long time
but off the top of my head I would think that there O rings
around the shaft for the park brake lever --
have suspicion that it would be much harder to try to get that all
apart ( piston / lever / shaft ) to replace seals ( then you have
to try to find some seals and will just have to do a "match "
at the parts store, etc etc ) --- so would be much faster
and less fustrating to just replace the caliper assembly.
good luck

Most calipers are a piece of cake to do, but that one is a little tricky. I agree to just replace the caliper with a rebuilt unit and be done with it. If the funds are available, it "would be best" to do the other side as well.

Any idea where would be the best place to get rebuilt calipers and the cheapest?

Most any Autozone or Pep Boys would have what you need.

If price is your only concern then Advance, Carquest , Autozone, Pep boys
are all pretty equal -- a few phone calls will get you a price check then just
go with the best price --
