I was finally changing 4-8 plugs, a pain in the ass let me say. when i noticed this sticker on the intake from FORD that said PCM reprogramed, and the date, and a bunch of numbers. Does anyone know what this means or whats it for. Thanks

I have that as well, I just choose to ignore it, just like some of the repairs FLM claims to have done on my car.

Whenever an update is done, they usually stick a sticker on, noting that it was an "authorized" update...
It was probably the update for the transmission issues...

:I right - each time they update your PCM they do that.
the PCM code is like any other computer code - several revisions after a couple of years.

That sounds about right. I think the date on mine coincides with the first sputtering I had in 4th/5th gear at around 1500 rpm.
