well Im done with trying to fix it, or replace it. the problem is I like the stock headunit nothing looks better. so I have invested in a MP3 player for the car. And was wondering if you all have done this and if so how did you get it to play over the stero in the car???
the car is a 1997 markViII
the Mp3 player is a Mustek PVR-A1 Personal Media Center MP3 Player
it was cheap as hell to $50+ shiping
so how do i get it hooked up to my car???

Find an auxilary harness to tie into the back of the radio to output an auxilary cable to hook to the head phone jack on the mp3 player.

its easiest if you buy a cheap sony headunit (has regular sterio inputs), if not you can tie directly into the harness, but it would sound pretty bad, i have my ipod playing over my system, but i also replaced the head unit..

for the harness itself, go to an audip shop and they may be able to tell you which wires go where (i have it but dont wish to take the dash apart).

Or you can buy and FM modulator that will play it through the radio station.

ok I did that today and wow it really sucks
