Its spring time, gotta back her out of the garage, clean her, and put her right back in the garage.

What is the wax of choice. Ive heard mcguiars wax was good. It stays soft even on the car and takes forever to buff out but ive heard good things.

Then theres the die hard turtle wax fan. Never worked with it have no idea.

What about that mr. clean new auto dry stuff??

Also what kind of damage can dish soap cause. Used dish soap on the non lincoln and cadillacs (the ones that dont matter LOL) but never tried it on the ol beast.

What do you guys think??

I have used Liquid Glass for years. Great stuff, easy on and off. Just have to remember to use a back and forth motion applying it instead of a circular motion.

Never use Dawn dishsoap, it strips wax off. The only time I use Dawn is to remove tar, then I immediately re-wax the places I have used it on.

I have heard that the Mr. Clean Auto Dry works really well and doesn't leave spots. Have never tried it though.

What about power buffing??? I dont mean to sound like a wuss but ive always been afraid of ruining things by busting out the ol power buffer. Anyone have any experience with one???
