anyone know of any good tranmission rebuilders for the zf automatic in a 1984 mark with with the 2.4L diesel.

would like to hear from anyone who owns one of these cars. i dont know much about the engine and how reliable it is and if it has any know problems.

Another resource would be Laurie on LincolnsOnline.Com as she and her husband have done the MOST to thier TD.

Don't be afraid to start checking the BMW Car Club of North America (www.bmwcca.org). Someone over there might know. I bet they sold more 524tds than Lincoln sold Turbo Diesel Marks.
