Ideally I would rather have a 4v Navigator. Why? Because its a 4v? Other then that and the extra power that it has stock. So here is my question. So what version can be potentially better for future upgrades? My thought was to get a 2v and upgrade the heads to PI and go with a Lightning supercharger. I believe going this route may be more budget oriented than purchasing a 4v which will cost me more from the beginning. A set of ported PI heads along with the blower should make for some nice numbers. My biggest concern would be too high of a compression. If memory serves me correctly, a non pi 4.6 with pi heads will bump the compression up. So what do you guys think? Would I be polishing a turd with a 2v 97-98 setup?
