:D .....and the car is a new breed of beast. I finally had the time to put the Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump in (thanks Geno for the parts) and let me tell you. It was easier than I thought. The tank came down ok, but the new pump didn't like the room I gave it. The factory one had a flat screen on the bottom of it. The new one had an angled screen with a plastic type adapter that kept it at 45 degrees. When I dropped it in the tank, it bottomed out before I could seat it. I made calls and tried to find someone in town that had the part and no one carries Walbro around here :Bang . So, I cut the brace that holds the fuel pump on and used a hose clamp to secure it to what was left of the brace. Tank went back on and I had to test it to make sure that it worked before I got the exhaust back on :D (sounded loud and sweet!) I annoyed a couple guys in the shop. It's nice being military. I have an auto shop bay on base with all the supplies I may need for $5 per hour including a lift. :N So I put it all back together after putting in my poly carrier bushings since I was already underneath (thanks again Geno) and took it for a ride. The idle smoothed out (no more loping or surging) and the car had a bit more get up when I hit the pedal. I'm a happy man all over again.
