I recently bought my grandpa's 62 continental. We live in southern Ca so there is not one spot of rust on it( i am restoring a 66 mustang fastback so i know what rust is). Its a great car and i will get it running in a month or so, it has 50k miles and its not 150k. It has never been hit and most of the electrical works( even the AM radio). I have a few questions though. The car originaly came with the highlight thing on the dash. What exactly did it do. Its not there anymore and are they hard to replace. My second question is the car has both cloth and leather interior and most i have seen have all leather, its stock becuase i can tell from the wear, but about how many came with this option. My third questions is what places sell repo parts for these cars? Mustang parts are really easy to find but these seem to be MUCH harder. Thanks for everything and if you want to take a look at a few older pics of my car heres my site---
