Well title says it all. I love my LS but its that time Im looking into getting a MKZ (07-09) i love 10s but i don't think i can afford it. So i got a few ?s i been looking online and allot time they don't tell you if they have the THX system which is a must to have and heated and cooled seats. I can obviously tell with the heated and cooled but how bout the THX.
I see the pics of speakers on the doors by the memory seat button but i looked on Wiki and it said has 14 speakers well where are they i have found 9 in total on this one. this isn't one I'm getting but just an example. Need help wanting to join the MKZ time to upgrade.

I had an 06 Zephyr for 2 years (well my wife did...). If it has navigation it has the THX system. A tale-tell way to know is the speakers above the center stack (above the radio/nav system), there will be a THX logo on the speaker grille at that location. BTW that system is pretty kickin' for that size car!

You will not be disappointed with a MKZ. My 08 has been an unreal experience with no mechanical issues and so fun to drive. Mine is a lease and I just put some cheap tires on it since it is up in another 2 months and the tires suck, ruined the ride completely.

The AWD system is great in the snow though... We have it in the MKX!

I have got a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr (Sport Edition). I do not have the THX audio but my stereo sounds very well and I have driven many cars and tested them so far since that is my hobby and passion. Trust me the premium sounds system is decent. I personally would suggest the sport package on the prev gen mkz I do not know if you can get it. I tested the new 2011 mkz base and sport mkz and the driving/handling is much better on the sport. It absorb bumps very well, handles more firm and sporty and almost no bodyroll. The base mkz is sort of but not completely Lexus like... floaty...you fell it rolls in fast turns. I think in all Lincoln the heated and cooled seats are standard. One more advice! Change the tire! Micheline Pilot Sport , Good Year Eagle GT or Yokohama YK520. I got 245/45/17 YK520 and it handles awesome and grips great plus more durable then the other two!

Honestly coming from LS MKZ Sport would be a better choice.

You aren't the only one looking at the MKZ/Zephyr. I've been browsing around Ebay, net, etc and seeing what mods and options are available for the car. Here's a couple pics...I love the black one, really tough.

Check my post in the ls section. I had a MKZ as a company car and I own a LS. My dad also had a LS and now has a MKZ. There were a few things missing in the MKZ, the heated windshield, the auto close feature, etc. The MKz THX stereo is killer though. I believe they all come with heated cooled seats. The THX and Nav were usually packaged together. PM me with questions if you wish.
