so i am able to get my hands on a 1990 lsc with a t5 swap, 4 10 gears and tuned. needs body work. guy is asking 1500 obo, talked him down to 1200 on the phone. i could probably get it with 1g cash in hand. has 70k miles. black interior kinda beat up. anything i should know about this thing, like what to look for before i pick it up?

All of the standard stuff applies to check out. Make sure the ABS is up to snuff and the air suspension holds up. Other than that keep in mind that you are buying into the project of someone else, so any number of unknown variables will have to be taken into account when you check into it.
