balancing flexplate(geno) or anyone

I had saw a few posts that when you take off the flywheel or flexplate that you should balance it. Is this true, and if so how do you do it? thanks.

Maybe your confusing that with when you balance a rotating assembly you have to take them your flexplate along with pistons,rods,rings,bearrings,crank,everything that "ROTATES".

I read a post that said I should balance it.. and I am pretty sure geno said so but I could be wrong. its on the other board so I will search and if I find it I will post the link. I may also have things confused like ya said.
