Trojan alert when opening website

Just about everytime I open this website I get a Virus attack attempt pop-up message from Norton. It tells me system secure after I open website, but it only happens with LVC. It is annoying that this happens as much as it does. Each time it is some kind of trojan attack, then it is taken care of by Norton.

My norton never alerts. Do you have a specific page that alerts for
You?

I have this page as my homepage, and as soon as LVC homepage completes its download, it immediately alerts me of a Trojan attempted attack. Norton immediately quarantines it without any further action necessary, but I am just wondering why this page as a few others have mentioned the same experience. I am full members of other forums also and this does not happen on them, just this one.

Joey, could someone have downloaded a corrupted pic or sig pic or avatar to cause this to be picked up?

I have run Norton and have been a paid member for yrs, and I extremely happy with it as it is doing its job, but this is everyday at opening of site and if I close down for awhile and come back to this site later the same day, I get the same thing, so it is not random.

Virus infections are more related to browsing habits than anything. Even the hackers are branching out, trying to gain that last bit of market share (stolen profit).

I've never been prompted with a trojan from this site. I use Firefox at home and IE at work, both machines protected with Vipre Antivirus.

It can also come from contaminated pics or avatar's and the like that is downloaded to site by another member.

Many things are "possible" - But here is what I have been doing and my advise for all.

First, I havent been able to find anything on the site to indicate a virus. I use norton myself and have not received any alerts.

I have checked the site with several online scanners and all give us a clean bill of health.

Have a look yourself:

http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=lincolnvscadillac.com
http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/?scan=www.lincolnvscadillac.com
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/lincolnvscadillac.com

I also have our server managers scanning the server to see if anything can be found. I take these things serious, but have been unable to find anything anywhere to verify.
EDIT: My server manager just completed thier scan and found nothing as well.

That said, let me offer some advise.

First, if you get a virus alert, it does me no good to just tell me that. I need to know what page you were alerted on so please give me the page URL, its also helpful to know what browser your using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Etc) and the version; Its also helpful to know what Operating system your on and what version. Also, if you can give me a screenshot of the alert or whatever that also would help.

Second, You can protect yourself by making sure you have the latest version of the following:

Java (http://java.com/en/download/inc/windows_upgrade_ie.jsp)
Adobe Flash (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)
Whatever browser your using;
Whatever OS your using;

Also - I suggest a good Virus Scanner (and make sure it's up to date) and a good malware scanner (also up to date)

Having things up to date with the latest version is CRUCIAL as false alerts happen all the time, and so do new viruses / malware. So make sure you have a good virus scanner but also keep it updated, along with things like java and adobe and your OS and Browser.
