Yes, they are an LVC advertiser, but they dont get my business automatically just because they advertise.

Five Star Ford gets my business because they have the best prices and service I know of.

As an example. I need new rear shock mounts on my 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII. I called my local LM dealership, and got a price of $44.35 each. (plus sales tax) I called Maxx at Five Star Ford to order them. My cost from Maxx... $30.60 each SHIPPED. (I get the LVC Gold Member Discount) Oh, and the local dealership had to order them so it would be about a week wait, I got them from Maxx in 3 days.

In short, I saved about 1/3 the cost, about $15 per. Not to mention Maxx knows his stuff and is always good to talk to.

One of the reasons I buy from Max is because of the price as well. But, one of the biggest sellers for me is that when I call he knows WHO I am. I am not talkin after I talk to him for a few minutes and then tell him my name, but he knows who I am within the first few seconds of me calling him for parts. Who do you know, that you do not talk to on a daily basis that recognizes your voice when you call them??? Not many that I know of. Maybe my voice is just the recognizable, but I do not think that it is.

My biggest reason is service. Not only does he know who I am, but his service is second to none. Prices help, but I would rather spend a few bucks more for service. Max is VERY helpful and he even is interested in you, not your money. I have called him on more than one occassion and just asked him for prices and availability on parts and we chatted afterwards for a short period of time, and I did not purchase anything. Most ppl just want your money, could care less how you are, and would rather get you off the phone so they can sell more parts to other ppl. That to me is service SECOND TO NONE!!!! And, that is the reason why I order from Max, and send as many ppl his way as I can. :Beer

I've personally met Max, and he is a great guy! I buy all my parts from him, haven't been around there lately, but he's the first place I go when something needs to be replaced...
