Was polishing a replacement filler lid for a '58 Buick and the plastic wrap had melted on it.I was taking it off with my fingernails and got some light scratches on it.

Is there a simple way to take the scratches off?

Besides rechroming.

wensol metal polish or nevurdull by eagle 1 works good
