Speaker sizes and locations?

In my Mark 8 - I know where all 8 of the interior speakers are or were (the previous owner ripped up the sound sytem). What are the sizes of the factory installed speakers? And also - where was the factory sub (that big hole behind the seats in the trunk?) and how big a sub fits in there?

Thanks folks!

This is correct. No "factory" subs.

the main speaker locations are 5x7" if you have the JBL system, you have a set of tweeters in the door also.

how do you get to the rear 5X7's do you have to pull the hole panel, or can you just pull that mash cover?

mmmmmmmmmm no not enaf air space the onely sub would be like 1 10in sub. I have a 15in 2200 watts at 2oh stable and it needs 5cf of air spase a custom box @3.6 takes up all but the first ft of trunk space. any one who puts a sup in the SP tire well has no clue what they are doing :bsflag:
It's cool I really have Idea what im talking about, just lurned some so that I could install my own Sh it! :Beer

My drivers side speakers keep going in and out. Could this just be the speaker? Or could it be a combination of the speaker and the amplifier?

Thanks for the help guys - I've got the sound system gutted pretty good right now - working on getting Infinitis in there.

And NO - I was not talking about the spare tire indent! LOL That's a scream. In the panel right behind the rear seats there is a hole cut in there - it looks like someone had a 10 or 12 inch sub in there. I'll have to experiment!

What's the size of the smaller holes behind the rear speaker grills?
