I got laid off from my job of 18 years due to the poor economy. The commercial construction market has not recovered at all and seems to be getting worse. The company I worked for makes commercial drainage products like floor and roof drains.

I'm sorry to hear of your recent layoff. All I can say is I do believe things are improving but realize there are still lots of hungry contractors out there. I am in the Commercial Design industry and we have seen a recent influx of commercial development lately, one retail store I have been designing in the Huntsville area just went out for bid. It may take a little while for the work to trickle down to the manufacturing sector but it is coming. I wish you luck !
