8.8 Cobra Rearend w/4.10 Trac-Lok

Hey guys, It's time to sell the rearend out of my Mark VIII. It's an aluminum 8.8 IRS pumpkin, setup with FRPP 4.10's and a Ford 28 spline trac-lok unit. It's a direct bolt in for any '89-'97 Thunderbird/Cougar and '93-'98 Mark VIII.

It was completely rebuilt about 8K miles ago, with new bearings and seals. It also had the TL rebuilt about 10K miles ago with an FRPP kit. The FRPP gears only have 8K miles on them. This rearend worked great in my car. It does have some whine on deceleration from 35-50mph. On the initial setup, the moron set the backlash too tight. It was fixed within 5 miles of use, but there is still some noise there as a result. If you have a set of Flowmasters, you probably wouldn't even hear it :D

Anyway, looking for $400 + Shipping. If no one is interested in the pumpkin as a whole, I would condsider seperating the gears, TL unit, and case.
