Ok...here is the skinny, I was trying to get a baseline on my car at the drag strip. I have the launch down, but was only capable of mid 15's. I know this car is capable of 14's. I guess this is because it isn't shifting into 3rd through the 1/4 mile. That bothers me somewhat. The car seems to be rapping out in 2nd. I have tried automatic shifting and manuel shifting but to no avail.

any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW..the car has just under 200k miles on it with stock engine and tranny.

when you say it wont shift into 3rd do you mean never or it just waits to long

mine shifts into 2nd around 50 and into 3rd right before 100. how fast were you running in the quarter

well that would make sense then...I am running in the early 90's.

i got shift to second at 54-56, and shift to third at 95-98 ish. Shiftin into third about 10 feet before i run throgh the traps 15.25@ 94 was my best of five with .051 rt
