Safest way to purchase from another member?

Looking to purchase wheels/tires from another member. Neither one of us are sure which is the safest method. He wants to receive payment before shipping; putting me in the dilemna of trusting him to send once he receives the money. I'm not familair with eBay, not even a registered user(maybe from forever ago, but don't remember details); however, I do have paypal. Do they have a secure trading/payment options?

If you guys have any suggestions go ahead and shoot. We talked on the phone for nearly a half an hour earlier about cars and various other things, which made me more comfortable, but you can't be sure.

Thanks for help guys.

After meeting the members on this site that I have met I would doubt that you would run into any troubles purchasing from another member.

Paypal is a very secure payment method if that is the way you want to pay for your purchase. I have used paypal many times and it is fast and safe.

Good Luck!!

I'm buying from LSinCT. I don't think there is going to be any problems. He seems like a good guy. Like I said above, I spoke with him for about 30 minutes last night. We are just going to supply one another personal information and then I am going to paypal him the money. If he doesn't deliver on the goods I'll just call the CC company and make a report.
