One of the top boots on my set of new Nology Livewires came loose from the plastic tube that goes into the valve cover so it keeps "squeezing up" after I push it down over the lip at the top of the cover. Can I superglue the boot to the tube or what? Is it supposed to be attached? The car ssems to run fine with the boot up in the air(The boot is above the cover about 1/2 inch).

Never heard of that with a Nology wire in my life. What do you mean exactly? Is the wire "snaping" into position then popping up?

The bottom of the tube snaps in place on the plug but the boot is not staying in place against the cover. You can push it down but the boot springs back up like there is something inside that is pushing back up. Is the plastic part supposed to be attached to the boot?

The rubber part may be a bit longer then the others, right on the end. Compare it to one that sit normal. If its too long then cut the difference off with a fresh razor blade so its the same length as the one that sits right.

Its probably because its such a tight fit that it builds up pressure under there when you are putting the wire in place. Then when the engine warms up the warm air increases the amount of pressure forcing the wire loose from the plug. I had this problem in another vehicle and I was able to take a razor blade and put a small slit in the side of the rubber that butts up against the wall and that allowed the air to escape and solved the problem.
