Can anybody tell me how to use the miles per gallon feature on the dash? Thanks..

Whatt do you need to know?? How to clear it, or what??

Go to the tech section and check out your owner's manual.......

Assuming you have the same computer as my 04...

You push the fuel button and it will cycle thru Average MPG and Miles to Empty and blank. Unfortunately as far as I can tell it will not give an instantaneous mpg like all my previous Fords with a fuel computer would. To reset the Average MPG, get it to display and then press the reset.

From my manual...
FUEL
Press this control for the following displays:
• Distance to Empty
• Average Fuel Economy
• Display On/Off
RESET
Press this control to select and reset functions shown in the FUEL,
SETUP and STATUS controls.

Yea, Jim, Your info is right on. I was a little annoyed when I discovered that I can get the instantaneous readings that I get on my Mark VII. Guess they found a cheaper way to make the computer. lol, Lincolnlov
