whats the widest tire size i can clear with the stock 17s?? and does anybody make a performance chip for these things??

the rims a 7.5" wide - so thats your limit. I run 245/45 and 2" lowered. The 245/45 are rated for a rim 7.5" to 9" so it is about as wide as I can go.
