hey i got a question dont kno if has been asked b4 but the engine in the mark and the continental r the same right xcept the newer conti r front wheel drive n the mark is rear but other than that they r the same couse my take on the mark was the 2door version of the conti

ones fwd, and 220hp, i think.

i think the 220hp is the 4.6 thats in the tc i thought the conti had the 32v 280hp or somthin like that engine but i really dont kno

The Continental had the Intech v8. In 95 it was changed to the V8 it had 260hp through 97, in 98 it got a slight face lift, and gained to 275hp. By about 2000 or 2001 it was up to 280. The same as the Mark VIII, the Continental was a pretty powerful sedan. :steering
