Well I just picked up my new car well semi new i bought a 2000 Lincon LS its only the v6 I purchased it for 11995 with only 35k miles.... I previously have had many cars from a 87 fiero GT, a 2001 Ranger, 2001 Mountaineer, 99 Honda Accord, and my previous 2003 Honda Civic (totalled)-damn drunk driver www.cardomain.com/id/rowin2k but all I can say is this is by far the best car I have ever owned..... This seems like a great site!!!! Anyone know of any descent places to buy some 20" rims/tire packages??
Thanks!!

welcome to LvC. A lot of folks start shopping on ebay for parts. Did you get any sort of warranty with it?

do you notice any hesitation or delayed shifting?

None at all, I researched the car pretty good, the tranny issues etc, an older guy owned it late 70's he passed away and his wife traded the car in for a focus.. (i knew the sales lady)... The only issue i have come across is the right rear psgr window when it rolls up makes a buzzin noise. Is there anything that i should look into before my warranty is up?

the rear window regulators have a tendency to fail. You'll hear noise coming from it while operating it or it will just fail to open. You might want to have that looked at before a rainy day comes and the window falls.

The replacement parts have been improved.

if you need a replacement, here's a good buy. but if you're under warranty, maybe someone else can use it... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33706&item=7966186444&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
