You aren't gonna find em cheap. ~1000-1200$ for both. But yea the swap over is "fairly" easy. They bolt in place, but some wiring mods, and some fabrication for the balasts is needed.

You can get them cheap, call Motion Hydraulics @ 1-508-588-1783 ask for Jermaine, you get 2 ballasts, 2 bulbs and a starter for $450.00.......you can't get them any cheaper ANYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you still use the stock housings though...doesn't seem worth it to me.

Not worth it !!!! Have you priced HID's, I suppose your the type of person that would expect them to install them, buy you a case of beer while they're being installed, and you'd probably want free gas for a month.....people like you make me laugh.......... Call your local Lincoln dealer and ask him how much for 1 ( one ) bulb.........235.00

Have you ever seen the glare produced by a set of HID bulbs, and the halogen housings? It's not good, nor is it worth even putting the money up for the bulbs and balasts. You would be better off buying a new set of halogen housings and some Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and be done with it. (if your wanting "cheap")

Actually, I think that Gen II owners can get their HID low beam replacements from our friend Max at Five Star Ford for around $170.00. Best price ANYWHERE. Unfortunately, Ford's '90's-era "cutting edge automotive innovation" COSTS!!! I have to replace the driver's side low beam on my '97 and that's where I'll be getting mine. I know that I'll be spending about an hour replacing mine when the time comes. Since these cars are so laiden with gadgets and gizmos, you sort of have to go into ownership with an open mind and an open wallet.

As far as Gen I owners are concerned, I feel for you on the whole headlight thing.

are hid headlights hard to install in a 94? if not where can i get some cheap?I just installed mine 2 weeks ago. I got mine from 5star,for 517.00 each ,1045.00 With shipping. Took 2 hours to install, some minor grinding. wiring was easy, mounted ballasts behind grill, drilling required, Was it worth it?? I don't know why I waited 5 years. They would have been cheaper too!!

Not that I know of, are you interested in a new set of factory ones? I just happen to have a pair for sale.

No, but if you click on the links in my signatuer....it will take you to my picture page. Find the HID retrofit link, and you'll see what I'm doing. Those pics are getting dated, and will get some new ones shortly.
