96 IAC on 98?

Will a 96 IAC work on a 98?

i could be wrong but i think the plugs are different.

It's possible that they'll work but the plug has a different angle but that's only because one mounts to the back side on the 96 and the 98 mounts on the top. As far as how the IAC works, I'm sure it's going to work just the same but I have been known to blow up cars so don't pay me any mind. :p

Also, that's $73.79 for a NIB OEM from rockauto.com

Sh!t! thats what the difference was.. when I replaced mine they gave me the one for a 97-98.. the pigtail had to be stretched to fit.

But it worked? If so, his should work too but may need to be stretched, iono.
