Anybody know if the gen. 2 mark viii has the same a/c control panel as the gen 1? I have a gen 1 but the buttons are hollow and a couple are busted... i've heard that the gen. 2's aren't hollow buttons.. any ideas? thanks ! :L

the 95-96 look the same than that of the 97-98. all i know is those two look the same but the connections on the back are different. i almost bought the 2nd Gen climate control without knowing this. so i bought the 95-96 piece for my 93 mark, and it works just fine.

i got a 97 for my 94 and could not get it to work so i have to use the old one with the broken buttons, any one here want a 97?

Why wouldn't it work?

cuz ford feels the need to change something between 94 and 95 when there is no need to, you tell me why its diffrent...makes no sence. god forbid parts from diffrent years be inerchangable.
