Can it be mailed in a small bubble wrap lined envelope so that it does not get dinged at the customs border for duty & tax? ONEBADMK8 March 30th, 2005, 10:06 PM Its very small but I wouldnt feel safe about it being in a padded bag. Kbob March 31st, 2005, 11:20 AM what is involved in the installation of a performance chipInstructions will come with a new chip. But it includes removing the EEC under your dash, opening the EEC and removing the film on the contacts. Then you attach the new chip and reinstall. None of it is hard. Jamler3 March 31st, 2005, 11:30 AM Chip Size = ~ 3 inches long and ~ 2 inches wide... Your computer is under your dash to the left of the steering wheel. Square looking steel case. You'll have to povide your code to get the chip. Code is located on the inside part of the plug(Side toward drivers door) If your a big dude, it may behard to get under there to see, you might need a small compact mirror. Call Geno, he'll talk you through getting the code. Don't know how badly you get hit for shipping to BC... Bastids probably nail ya good! Good Luck man, my LMS chip smokes... Car runs better and your tranny will love ya for it!!!! :nxsmile | |||||
