I have recently sensor lowered my 97 mk8, I love the way it rides and looks on the city streets. But I feel like it gets way too low on the highway! Is there any way I can cut out the speed lower option?

not when you have super stiff shocks and you bounce to much when it lowers on the highway like me.....

Doesn't the mark just switch to firm above a certain speed or if it encounters certain road conditions.

If you wanted to manually change the height back and fourth from inside the vehicle, you could put a Module 8 on it. http://www.module8.net/

The Continental has the ability to change dampening from soft to firm, depending on driving conditions, but the Mark VIII DOES NOT have this feature. It only changes vehicle height, not internal strut dampening.

Tom ;

Load up the car before you get on I 64 and I 95 , get out of the car , leave the car running and door open , and turn off switch in trunk ! ! ! Car will not lower at highway speeds with switch off ! ! ! You can run wires and another switch to turn off air ride from inside the car ! ! !

I am sending a private message to you ! ! !

Good Luck,
Sonny

Eric ;

The switch in the car allows you to activate/deactivate the air ride at any time ! ! ! My first trip on the Interstate was done with the switch on ! ! ! On the return trip I filled the car with gas and turned off the air ride ! ! ! The return trip was much better without the extra lowering ! ! !

I plan to install Mark 8 modules ! ! ! I already have three of the kits ! ! !

Good Luck,
Sonny
