Just want to say thanks to everyone on the forum. This last week has been a trying time for my Mark... But it looks like all problems are almost solved. And when I was having the cooling fan problem, I dont remember who it was, one of you were going to sell me one that they had... I did not need it since I found a sweet 96 LSC in a yard in Phoenix that Im hoping to rape when I get paid and get back from TX. But here is my next question... I have a strange sound coming for the rear of the car... I found out what it was, it is the differential bushing on the right side the differential seems to be bumping up on the body. The bushing does not look like its dead. So what Im asking is would I be able to tighten that bolt that holds it in or should I just replace the bushing?

I had the same bolt problem on mine, I removed them, put loc-tite red on them and tightened them down all the way, some where around 180ft lbs

You are one lucky guy to have Max near you ...

Ya Max is cool... In fact I talked to him for the first time last week when I was looking for a cooling fan for my car. He was really nice... I will call him in the AM and ask about the bushing.

Did you have vibrating all all different speeds along with the clunking before you tightened it down?

Ha..yeah I had vibrating..but I wouldn't by any means blame just that when talking about my car the way it used to be...mine had several problems that I addressed

Glad to hear things are improving for you. Lots of us 'non-gearheads' have gone through travails with our Marks and this site has saved us thousands of dollars.

It's a great community.
