Same block, all years with very few changed over the years. Same heads from 96-98. When i last looked in the front it 6x8 and the back it 6x9 Correct. Does any one know were i can get an intake for it and other mods? :feedback Spend some cash and do a PI head and intake swap (any 1999+ Mustang, or 2001+ Town Car, Crown Vic, Grand Marq) Next, get the intake tube, MAF, and airbox from a Mercury Marauder. You'll also need a chip. You may also have to do a little wiring, but nothing insane. Don't forget an upgraded true-dual exhaust with a pair of Flowmasters or MagnaFlow.All-in-all, this stuff could net you up to 100+ horsepower... You'll find all this in the Crown Vic section @ Angry Duck Tofu Racing, a Panther performance specialist: www.adtr.net for the Panther performance stuff, you'll find the PI heads/ intake And BTW, AVOID CrownVic.net. Nothing but kids, morons, idiots, academy rejects, and police impersonators jacking-off to Galls catalogs over there... ONEBADMK8 April 11th, 2005, 01:51 AM We have everything for your car. Maf, chip, exhaust..etc. Give me a ring. ONEBADMK8 April 11th, 2005, 01:53 AM And BTW, AVOID CrownVic.net. LOL remember Sherriff? evillally April 11th, 2005, 02:48 AM He still haunts CrownVic.us; ever since his arrest for impersonation, it's been a troll-zoo over there... purelux April 11th, 2005, 06:10 PM dude crownvic.net like all forums has some pointless crap and jerks but so does almost any internet forum. There are many posts and links to helpful information. 91lincTownEx April 12th, 2005, 09:23 AM Not to whore your thread but about how much would a whole setup cost heads,cams,intake,chip,... cost? Difficulty? evillally April 12th, 2005, 11:46 AM Not to whore your thread but about how much would a whole setup cost heads,cams,intake,chip,... cost? Difficulty? PI Heads can usually be found on eBay or the Modular forums for under $350. The intake, around $250. The K&N cold air kit around $200 Chips range from $250-$350 All-in-all, you should spend no more than $750 for all of that. As for installation difficulty- if you have to ask how difficult it is to install heads, etc., You should probably consult with a trusted mechanically inclined friend. It's not difficult, but if you've never done it before, get help...
