is that an original c.e wheel just dyed, or recovered? why is the wood no where near the color of the shifter?

The leather was painted with the Duplicolor vinyl paint, and then scuffed with a scotch brite pad.
Jamie, the wheel and the shifters did not come off the same car. I had bought the wheel earlier and was going to use it on my black 98 until it went up in smoke.
