All the sudden driving my Mark Viii, The check engine light came on, the car felt like it was running on 6 cylinders with that shake and roughness and the weird thing was that the cold ac air turned warm. So some sensor maybe??? What do you guys think. I am guessing that someone knows what happened?

Help me guys, This is my baby!

98 Mark Viii

thanx,
JOHN

Pull the code. An oil soaked or bad coil boot will cause it, as well as a bad COP. I'm betting you have a misfire code, but again you need to pull it and find out.

Ya, replace them all. Boots are cheap, coils are not. So just get the boots. But check code first.

replaceing the boots are super easy...on the pass side you have to remove the intake tube, the hose connected to it and the plug next to it...remove the 2 bolts that holds the cover on...disconnect the connecter on the cop, install new ones and reinstall.. (with di-electric grease of course)...drivers side is easier iirc...
